Towards Solutions!

An innovative model of social economy that provides access to the labour market and improves the quality of life for people in vulnerable socio-professional situations.

- Increasing employment opportunities by offering training in life skills, entrepreneurship and providing vocational qualifications required in the job market.
- Creating jobs through an innovative socio-economic model: a temporary employment agency.
- Promoting the agency and ensuring its financial sustainability through publicity campaigns and partnerships with the private and public sector.

What happened to the abandoned children of Romania (1990) after the media spotlight faded? They are young adults now and many are ill prepared for life outside the care system. Most of the young people living on the streets of Bucharest are from State Children's Homes. At the age of 18, young people have no choice but to leave these institutions without any support. It is at this stage that AMURT Romania intervenes. It is one of only a few NGOs that have taken on this challenging and vulnerable target group. Please visit AMURT fundraising page.
